In-Form Nigerian Striker Drawing Glances From Motherwell, Partick Thistle & EFL Clubs
Published: April 13, 2017English-born Nigerian striker Gozie Ugwu is drawing interest from teams based in Scotland, according to reports.
Nonleague.pitchero.com says Motherwell and Partick Thistle are interested in the Woking star, who will become a free agent in the next few weeks if he does not extend his contract.
But the two Scottish Premiership teams face competition from unnamed clubs in England thought to be EFL teams.
Formerly with Dunfermline Athletic, Ugwu also represented Reading, Yeovil Town and Wycombe Wanderers before he was acquired on a one-year deal by The Cardinals in the summer of 2016.
This season, he has scored 18 goals from 45 appearances across all competitions.
