Watford Striker Of Nigerian Descent Stars As England Thrash Turkey
Published: April 05, 2017England U19s started their UEFA Women’s European U19 Championship Elite Qualifying Round on a winning note, after beating Turkey 3-0 at Arslan Zeki Demirci Spor Kompleksi, Mangavat on Wednesday.
There was Nigerian interest in the game with the in-form Watford teenager Rinsola Babajide named to the roster announced last month.
She was introduced in the second half and once again gave a good account of herself in the final 25 minutes.
Babajide tweeted after the game : “Buzzing to have started the tournament with a 3-0 win vs Turkey, time to prepare for the next game ð���ð��¾â�¤ï¸�ð��¬ð��§”
Mo Marley’s side return to action on Friday when they face Denmark.
