Chelsea & Spurs Nigerian Staff, Ex-Millwall Striker, Fawaz Honoured At Football Black List Awards
Published: March 30, 2017Two Nigerian-born Chelsea staff were recognized at the Football Black List Award for 2017 held on Tuesday.
The list recognizes people across six categories Media, Administration, Coaching and Management, Commercial, Community and Players and Ones to Watch.
England international Eniola Aluko picked up an award in the player category, while Chelsea Technical Director Michael Emenalo was recognized in the administration category.
Other Nigerians honoured included Tottenham Hotspur U21s coach Ugo Ehiogu, ex-Tottenham Hotspur Ladies star Christina Oshodi, television presenter Mimi Fawaz and ex-Millwall striker Tobi Alabi.
The Football Black List Award was founded in 2008 by sports journalists Leon Mann and Rodney Hinds, and highlights movers and shakers from the black community in the sport.
