Kayode Excited To Train With Super Eagles Stars Iheanacho, Iwobi & Ndidi
Published: March 29, 2017Kayode Olanrewaju was excited after training with the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi for the first time in his career, and hopes to continue his good form to attract the Super Eagles coaches ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifier versus South Africa.
The Austria Vienna frontman made his long-awaited debut for the Super Eagles in their international friendly against Senegal last week at the Hive Stadium, when he came off the bench in the 74th minute.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank God Almighty for making it possible for me to be part of the Super Eagles team.., ” Kayode said in a social media post.
“Want to thank my teammates for their wonderful gestures towards me and thanks to my family and friends, also to my wonderful fans for there great support...will continue to do my best...#Lk8.”
Kayode first played for the Golden Eaglets before he was promoted to the Flying Eagles and was part of the squad at Colombia 2011 and Turkey 2013.
He returned to Austria on Tuesday ahead of Austria Vienna’s Bundesliga match against Admira on April 1.
