How Iwobi, Musa, Balogun & Troost-Ekong Reacted After 1-1 Draw With Senegal
Published: March 24, 2017Super Eagles stars have taken to social media to react to their 1-1 draw with Senegal in an international friendly at the Hive Stadium on Thursday night.
Nigeria went behind early in the second half to a goal from Fenerbahce’s Moussa Sow before Kelechi Iheanacho equalized from the penalty spot with seven minutes remaining.
Mainz defender Leon Balogun tweeted : “Proud moment 2 play in front of my London family for the first time wearing the green ð���ð��³ð��¬ thx 4 the amazing support of the fans as well ð���ð��½”.
William Troost-Ekong said : “ð��³ð��¬ Thanks for your great support! Good fight from the team for the draw. Proud to have played my 10th cap for Nigeria”.
Leicester City star Ahmed Musa has posted a picture where he was lacing up the boot of a Senegalese player, and commented : “#Respect @ London, United Kingdom”.
Arsenal attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi who was in action for an hour tweeted : “ð�¦�ð��³ð��¬ #BIG17”
Nigeria will return to action on Monday, March 27 when they face Burkina Faso at the Hive Stadium.
