Onuoha Tallies Third Goal Of The Season As QPR Thrash Rotherham United
Published: March 19, 2017Ex-England youth international Nedum Onuoha was on target in Queens Park Rangers 5-1 rout of Rotherham United in the EFL Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Three players of Nigerian descent, Onuoha, Semi Ajayi and Tom Adeyemi (both Rotherham United), started and completed the game staged at Loftus Road.
A former England U21 skipper, Onuoha added more gloss to the scoreline in stoppage time when he turned a free kick home with the simplest of tap ins at the back post.
The goal against the Millers took the versatile defender’s tally to three for the season, having also found the net against Leeds United and Wigan Athletic.
The Queens Park Rangers skipper, who was born in Warri, has recorded 40 appearances this term.
