Former Arsenal Prospect Aneke Starts His Rehab, Out For The Season
Published: March 14, 2017Ex-Arsenal prospect Chuks Aneke is definitely not in contention to dress for MK Dons when they take on AFC Wimbledon in the Football League One on Tuesday night.
Ahead of the fixture at Kingsmeadow, MK Dons writes on its official website that the former England youth international looks set to miss the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury.
Aneke sustained the injury ten minutes after coming on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with Bradford on February 28.
The 23-year-old has started rehabilitation with the club’s medical team after undergoing surgery a week ago.
The attacking midfielder or striker was not in MK Dons squad for the first 18 games of the season because he was still recovering from a knee injury.
He scored 4 goals in 18 appearances following his return from the knee injury.
