England U21 international Tammy Abraham is set to return to action for Bristol City when they trade tackles with Wigan Athletic in the Championship on Saturday.

The Chelsea loanee has not played competitively since picking up a thigh injury in the 2-1 loss to Leeds United, and had to return to Stamford Bridge to undergo treatment.

“Its great to have Tammy back through the door and available, ” Johnson said, according to Bristol Post.

He has been a really important player for us this season and his return will give everybody in the camp a lift.
