Super Eagles Coach Rohr In Germany For Talks With Leon Balogun, Noah Bazee
Published: March 05, 2017Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr is presently in Germany to run the rule over two players he has called up for the international friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The German coach could not watch Leon Balogun in Mainz 05’s 1-1 draw with Wolfsburg at the OPEL ARENA (Mainz) on Saturday because the central defender is serving a suspension for his red card against Preußen Münster on February 25.
However, the former Bayern Munich defender held a meeting with Leon Balogun at an undisclosed location.
The Nigeria Football Federation has also revealed that Rohr was among the 15,415 spectators at Wildparkstadion, where Karlsruher SC faced off with Hannover yesterday.
His mission in Karlsruher was to observe at close quarters the exciting striker Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee, and he wasn’t disappointed, with the 20-year-old playing for 58 minutes despite struggling with an injury before the game.
