Fulham Fans Applaud Aluko Off The Pitch After Scoring Against Preston
Published: March 04, 2017Sone Aluko was on target in Fulham’s 3-1 win over Preston North End on Saturday afternoon at Craven Cottage.
The London team led 1-0 at the break courtesy of Aluko’s goal in the 22nd minute, his sixth goal of the season and fifth in the Sky Bet Championship this season.
A cross from the byline found the Nigeria international who slotted home at the near post, and he was involved in the build-up play to the third goal scored by Kebano that put the game to bed in the 77th minute.
On 88 minutes, Sone Aluko was replaced by Denis Odoi and the Fulham fans appreciated his efforts by applauding him off the pitch.
The 28-year-old recorded his 36th appearance of the season in all competitions against The Lilywhites.
