Rangers GM Reveals Orlando Pirates Tapped Up Emmanuel Daniel : He Is Our Player
Published: February 24, 2017Enugu Rangers General Manager Christian Chukwu has insisted that Nigeria U23 netminder Emmanuel Daniel remains on the books of the Nigeria Professional Football League champions.
Unofficial reports suggest that Daniel has penned a contract with Orlando Pirates, but Chukwu has revealed that the transfer is not valid and expects the South African powerhouse to open talks with Rangers over the signing of the goalkeeper.
“Emmanuel Daniel is a Rangers player, Rangers are the ones to clear him to Orlando Pirates, ” said Christian Chukwu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“As of today (February 24), he has a contract with Rangers and we expect Orlando Pirates to open negotiations. ”
Daniel, 23, was linked with a transfer to Israeli Premier League side Maccabi Haifa before his trip to South Africa.
