Iwobi Returns To Arsenal Training, In Line To Make 8th FA Cup Appearance
Published: February 19, 2017Alex Iwobi is in line to face Sutton United in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Monday evening.
The attacking midfielder was captured on camera training with other first-team players on Sunday for the last time before the trip to Gander Green Lane.
Two days after the Gunners were thrashed 5-1 by Bayern, Iwobi was among the players excused from training because he started the game and needed to have a short break after the plane journey from Munich.
It would be his eighth appearance in the FA Cup if he gets to feature against the non-leaguers.
Arsenal will host Lincoln City in the sixth round on March 11-13, 2017 if they eliminate Sutton United.
