Nigeria GK Ikeme Excited About Playing Against Victor Moses, Chelsea Stars
Published: February 17, 2017Carl Ikeme is relishing the prospect of facing Victor Moses and other top stars in the ranks of Chelsea when Wolverhampton Wanderers clash with The Blues in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Super Eagles glovesman was one of the heroes when the Molineux outfit shocked Stoke City in the third round but was unavailable for selection against Liverpool due to a red card suspension.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Molineux packed. It’s going to be a great atmosphere and a great occasion, ” Ikeme told Wolves official website.
“The bigger the occasion is, the better we seem to play.”
The 30-year-old added : “It’s going to be something that everyone’s going to revel in. Nobody’s going to have any fear.
“You’re playing against the best players in the world so it’s going to be something that we’re all going to enjoy and we’re all going to do our best.”
Ikeme made his 200th appearance for Wolves in their 1-0 loss to Wigan Athletic on Tuesday in the Championship.
