Chelsea Hero Gullit Blames Moses For Burnley Goal : He Turned His Back Away
Published: February 13, 2017Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit has pinned blame on Victor Moses for the goal conceded by Chelsea in their 1-1 draw with Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday.
Robbie Brady netted the equalizer for the home team with a brilliant free kick, and Gullit has suggested that Chelsea wing-back Moses did not defend the free kick despite being part of the wall.
“This free-kick is perfect,” Gullit, a Ballon d’Or winner in 1987, told Match of the Day 2.
“If we analyse it - the ugliest players go into the wall. The only thing is you put your face there.
“What is Moses doing? He turns away from it. I hate players turning their back away.”
Moses had provided the assist for the goal scored by Pedro Rodriguez, before the opponents equalized in the 24th minute.
