Tottenham Hotspur Nigerian Winger Rejects Transfer To Slovenian Champions
Published: February 09, 2017In-form Tottenham Hotspur winger Nathan Oduwa has rejected a move to Slovenian PrvaLiga champions NK Olimpija Ljubljana, a week to the end of the transfer window in the country.
The Green and Whites had tested the waters for a swoop of the Nigeria U23 international and invited him to attend a training camp in Turkey this week, but he gave them a negative response.
Regarded as one of the top talents at White Hart Lane, Oduwa has yet to make his competitive debut for Spurs, and has enjoyed brief loan spells at Rangers, Luton Town, Colchester United and Peterborough United.
The former England youth international has been at Tottenham Hotspur for the past nine years.
In four outings for Spurs U23s since he returned from a loan stint at Peterborough United, the winger has scored 2 goals.
