Everton Fans Gush Over Nigerian Wonderkid: He Is Better Than Messi, Next Thierry Henry
Published: February 04, 2017The Everton faithful were impressed with the performance of Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman on his full debut for the Toffees in their 6-3 rout of Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.
Lookman, who was signed from Charlton Athletic in January, did not look out of place in the Everton attack and was full of trickery during the 71 minutes he spent on the pitch and the fans were clearly delighted with what they saw.
Below are some tweets from the Everton fans :
@grandoldteam tweeted : “ Ademola Lookman. Let’s not get carried away but he’s already better than Thierry Henry”.
@greenallefc said : “Romelu Lukaku, world class Ross Barkley, cocky twat Ademola Lookman, next Messi Oumar Niasse, legend”.
Matt Smith commented : “Not exaggerating but Ademola Lookman looks a decent player and when I say decent player I mean the next Lionel Messi #efc”.
@EvertonBlueArmy added : “Ademola Lookman is just absolutely quality, mate. Whipping out all the tricks now. #EVEBOU”.
Lookman, who is being monitored by the Nigeria Football Federation with a view to a call up to the Super Eagles, made his fourth appearance in the English top-flight against Bournemouth.
