Bayern Munich Join Real Madrid, PSG in Race To Sign English-Born Nigerian Midfielder
Published: February 03, 2017German champions Bayern Munich have started planning for reinforcements in midfield ahead of the 2017-2018 season.
The Times has reported that the Bavarians are plotting a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur star of Nigerian descent Dele Alli, and will submit a bid for him in the summer.
It is thought that Spurs would only agree to sell the England midfielder if they receive a bid of over 100 million euros or more than the figure they pocketed from the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.
With Real Madrid and Paris St. Germain also monitoring the situation of Alli, the latest interest from Bayern Munich is set to trigger a transfer battle for the signature of the ex-MK Dons wonderkid.
The 20-year-old is contracted to Spurs until June 30, 2022.
