Arsenal Include Two Nigerian Young Stars In Champions League Squad, EIGHT Omitted
English Premier League club Arsenal have sent their updated Champions League roster to UEFA, ahead of their round of 16 clash against Bayern Munich later this month.

As many as ten players of Nigeria descent remained on the books of the Gunners after the transfer window closed for business on Tuesday night.

They include Super Eagles attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi, England youth-teamers Tolaji Bola, Xavier Amaechi, Arthur Okonkwo, Joseph Olowu, Tobi Omole, Joshua Dawodu, James Olayinka, Folarin Balogun and Nathan Tella.

Only two, Iwobi and Tolaji Bola, are eligible to play in the Champions League, having made the B List, according to Arsenal youth team expert Jeorge Bird.

Chuba Akpom sealed a loan move to Brighton & Hove Albion until June 30 and has not been registered by Arsenal.
