It Is NOT True Celtic Defender Efe Ambrose Is Joining Hibernian
Published: January 31, 2017Out-of-favour Celtic defender Efe Ambrose will not be signed by Hibernian on loan, amid speculations linking him with a shift to Easter Road before the close of the transfer window today.
The Scottish Sun says there is no truth in reports linking manager Neil Lennon with the Nigeria international.
Ambrose, who joined Celtic from Ashdod in 2012, would have reunited with the former Celtic coach if the transfer was not a rumour.
The 28-year-old Ambrose has not made a competitive appearance for the Scottish champs for more than six months.
His contract with Celtic will run out at the end of this season.
