Done Deal : Ex-Bolton Wanderers Trialist Mbong Off To NK Inter Zapresic
Published: January 30, 2017Malta U21 international Joseph Mbong has confirmed that he has agreed terms with Croatian Prva HNL team NK Inter ZaprešiÄ�.
Hibernians have decided to loan out the promising striker to NK Inter ZaprešiÄ� until the end of the 2016-2017 season.
“I am joining NK Inter ZaprešiÄ� until the end of the season from Hibernians. I will be traveling to Croatia today, ” Mbong told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I needed a team where I can be challenged and I can become a better player.”
The former Bolton Wanderers trialist, who is regarded as one of the most promising talents in the Island Nation, has committed his international future to Malta ahead of Nigeria.
Mbong, 19, is the first player to score for Malta in a European competition.
