Samuel has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Russian Premier League champions CSKA Moscow and will be unveiled by the Army Men in the coming days.
CSKA Moscow have shown that they are a professional club by agreeing to sign the attacker after he fully recovered from an injury that had kept him on the sidelines for about seven months.
The 22-year-old suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during the Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg on May 2 while defending the colours of the Muscovites.
Aaron Samuel netted 3 goals from 10 appearances for CSKA Moscow in the second half of last season.
