Official : Tianjin Teda Finally Confirm Capture Of Chelsea And Nigeria Hero Mikel
Published: January 26, 2017Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda finally announced the capture of John Obi Mikel on Thursday January 26, 20 days after Chelsea informed they have parted company with the Nigeria international.
While the financial terms and duration of the contract were not revealed by Tianjin Teda, it is understood that the central midfielder has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, and will earn around seven million pounds per season.

Mikel, 30, was at Chelsea for ten and a half years, and netted 6 goals in 372 appearances.
During Tianjin Teda’s training camp in Spain, he played with the number ten jersey .
