Hot Prospect Ovie Ejaria Resumes Training With Liverpool First-Team
Published: September 01, 2016Ovie Ejaria, 18, was one of the youngsters called up to train with the first team of Liverpool at Melwood on Thursday morning.
Several of the first-teamers are away on international duty, including four that were named in the England squad for the World Cup qualifier against Slovakia, and the Nigerian was invited by German coach Klopp to make up the numbers.
Ejaria sat out the Reds U23s first two games of the season in the Premier League 2, against Southampton and Chelsea due to the injury he suffered while with the first team in the United States during pre-season.
But the former Arsenal talent has fully recovered and was in action for 90 minutes against his old club in the Premier League 2 last Friday.
The central midfielder featured five times for the first team of Liverpool during pre-season.
