Hearts Striker Abiola Dauda : Our Mistakes Cost Us The Game
Published: April 30, 2016Hearts striker Abiola Dauda has expressed his happiness after scoring against Celtic in the Scottish Premiership but was unhappy because his team lost the game 3-1 despite his equalizer 11 minutes after he was introduced.
Prior to the game against The Bhoys, the former Red Star Belgrade hero had failed to score in five games in the top-flight which made him lose his place in the starting lineup.
“It was nice too score but sad we couldn’t win the game and out mistakes cost us the game, ” said Dauda to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I have always believed I can score when I get more minutes on the pitch and today I got 45 minutes. ”
Dauda notched a brace on his league debut against Ross County on February 10, then scored his third goal against Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the start of March.
