Chelsea,NFF Send Birthday Greetings To John Obi Mikel
Published: April 22, 2016Chelsea and the Nigeria Football Federation have sent birthday greetings to John Obi Mikel via their social media accounts.
Born on April 22, 1987 in Jos, the defensive midfielder is celebrating his 29th birthday today, Friday.
Chelsea said on Twitter : “Today we say happy birthday to John Mikel Obi! #CFC.”
The Nigeria Football Federation said : “Happy birthday @NGSuperEagles captain John Mikel Obi. Continue to Age with grace. #HappyBirthdayJohnMikelObi.”
Mikel debuted for the Super Eagles in August 2005 in an international friendly against Libya after representing the U17 and U20 national teams, and has been on the books of Chelsea for approximately ten years.
