Antics Of Chris Giwa Not Good For Nigerian Football - Pinnick
Published: April 08, 2016A Jos-based Federal High Court has sacked Amaju Pinnick and declared Chris Giwa as the legitimate president of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The election held in Warri that brought Pinnick into power as the NFF supremo was nullified by Justice Musa Haruna Kurya on Friday morning, but the former Delta State Sports Commission chief says he will file for the court to temporarily suspend the judgement.
Pinnick told Austin Okon Akpan of Channels TV : “This is not good for Nigerian Football, we will file for stay of execution.”
Meanwhile, Chris Giwa has stated that he will resume at the NFF office in Abuja immediately and will soon announce a new Head of Media.
Fifa will automatically suspend Nigeria from participating in football competitions if Pinnick is eventually ousted by a court.
