AIK Locked In Talks With Ex-Fulham Midfielder Etuhu Over New Deal
Published: April 05, 2016AIK Stockholm have opened talks with Nigeria international Dickson Etuhu over the extension of his contract.
The defensive midfielder would walk away from Friends Arena as a free agent if he does not extend his agreement with the Swedish Allsvenskan club before December 2016.
Sports Manager Björn Wesström, has revealed that AIK are hoping to reach a compromise with Etuhu and goalkeeper Patrik Carlgren.
“The ambition is that we will extend. Then, as always, agreeing what the club is capable of and what the players accept,”said Wesström to fotbolltransfers.com.
Etuhu defended the colours of Manchester City, Preston North End, Norwich City, Sunderland, Fulham and Blackburn Rovers before his shift to AIK in 2015.
