Adarabioyo,Kigbu Feature As Man City Qualify For FA Youth Cup Final At Expense Of Arsenal
Published: April 04, 2016England youth-teamer Tosin Adarabioyo and Ashinme Kigbu were both handed starts as Manchester City advanced to the final of the FA Youth Cup by beating Arsenal 4-3 on aggregate on Monday night.
Kigbu was replaced by Latibeaudiere in the 65th minute at the Emirates, while Adarabioyo, who skippered the Young Blues, played the full game.
Despite going ahead in the sixth minute through Willock, the Gunners struggled defensively and conceded twice before the intermission, but substitute Donyell Malen restored parity for the Londoners in the 62nd minute.
The goal ensured a nervous ending to the game but Arsenal strikers found it difficult to penetrate The Citizens backline marshaled by Tosin Adarabioyo.
Following the win over Arsenal, Manchester City have set up a meeting with either Chelsea or Blackburn Rovers in the final.
