Super Eagles Will Go For The Jugular In Reverse Fixture
Published: March 26, 2016The Super Eagles have declared that they are disappointed with the outcome of the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt and have vowed to pick up the maximum points in the reverse fixture in Alexandria in three days time.
The Samson Siasia-led side wasted an excellent opportunity to overtake the North Africans in the standings after Mohamed Salah scored in the closing minutes due to a lack of concentration in the defense.
“We’re disappointed with the draw but our heads are unbowed. We’ll storm Alexandria, Egypt in high spirits.
“With your support, we’ll triumph,” the Super Eagles said in a statement.
After three rounds in Group G of African Cup of Nations qualification, Egypt lead the way with seven points followed by Nigeria who have garnered five points.
