NFF Appeals To Super Eagles Fans: Do Not Come With Any Weapon To Stadium
Published: March 23, 2016The Nigeria Football Federation has appealed to spectators who are interested in watching the AFCON qualifier between Nigeria and Egypt not to bring any weapon to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Friday, March 25.
The Federation also made a heartfelt request to fans, urging them to play a part in the Super Eagles march to victory by wearing green and white on match day.
“We are specially appealing to our football fans not to come with any item that might be seen as a weapon, because security will be very tight on the day,” said NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi.
“We also appeal passionately to the fans to co-operate fully with the security agents to make for hitch –free entry into the venue.
“Similarly, we are appealing to the fans to come to the stadium wearing green and white colours. We want the venue proudly adorned in our national colours.”
The kickoff time for the AFCON qualifier versus Egypt is 1700 hours Nigerian time.
