World Exclusive: Kelechi Nwakali Arrives In London To Complete Dream Move To Arsenal
Published: March 16, 2016Golden Eaglets skipper Kelechi Nwakali departed the shores of the country on Tuesday night for the United Kingdom to finalize his switch to Premier League side Arsenal.
Nwakali and his representatives have agreed a five-year deal with Arsenal, having traveled to London in January to be shown around the club’s facilities with a view to penning a preliminary contract.
“Kelechi Nwakali left for the United Kingdom yesterday with his brother Allwell to finally seal his deal with Arsenal, ” CEO ASJ Academy Emeka Amajiriaku told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Nwakali’s move to Arsenal is a done deal, a five-year deal has been agreed.”
It is understood that Diamond Academy and ASJ Academy will pocket 2.5 million pounds from the transfer of Kelechi Nwakali to Arsenal.
