Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC Engage Players,Officials In Seminar
Published: March 09, 2016
The management of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos will engage their players and officials in a seminar titled Understanding Temperament on Friday at the MFM Youth Church, MFM Headquarters, Yaba, Lagos.
It is often said that athletes with better temperament are less likely to lose their heads when fouled; when their team is losing or officiating is going against them, for this cause, the management of MFM FC has decided to educate their players and officials on how to manage their temperaments on and off the pitch.
The Chairman of the club, Godwin Enakhena spoke on the importance of the seminar and its benefits to the players and officials.
“It is almost impossible for one to succeed in any human endeavour without discipline. This comes with the ability to comport ones self in good and bad times; in this case, we are talking about on and off the pitch behaviour.
“So much is expected from MFM FC because we represent the church in Nigeria and thus must be a shinning light to other teams in terms of discipline on and off the pitch.
“We can’t afford to fail the church. Be reminded that this is the second seminar I am organising for the boys this season.
“The first was shortly before the league started and the seminar was on Character Development ”.
The facilitators of Fridays seminar are from a Lagos based Christian non governmental organisation that goes by the name Centre for Youth Studies with a motto For Tomorrow’s sake.
