CSKA Moscow Willing To Sell Ahmed Musa To English Teams For 24 Million Euros In July
Published: March 03, 2016Director General of CSKA Moscow Roman Babayev has reiterated that the club will listen to offers for Ahmed Musa when the transfer market reopens, amid interest for the striker from teams in the English Premier League.
The Muscovites turned down at least two bids from Premiership leading Leicester City in the winter transfer market because they were not prepared to sell the Super Eagles skipper when they are challenging for the title in the ongoing season.
“It is not right to keep the player when he has offers from the Premier League for the right price,” said Babayev to championat.com.
“Several English clubs are actively interested in Musa. And not just English. Footballer faithfully served CSKA and do not let him go to the best league of the world from our side would be incorrect.”
Ahmed Musa and his intermediary, Tony Harris, did not feel over resentful over the decision of CSKA Moscow in the January transfer window and will be hoping to continue discussions with interested teams in three months time.
The capital team will accept bids in the region of 24 million euros for the Nigeria national-teamer.
