Royal Force Academy To Report NFF,Nasiru Jibril, Football College Abuja To Fifa Over Illegal Transfer Of Ajayi To Rijeka
Published: February 27, 2016
Benin City - based nursery team Royal Force Academy has threatened to report the Nigeria Football Federation, Football College Abuja and HNK Rijeka to Fifa over the fraudulent transfer of Odion Ajayi to the Croatian club in 2013.
Former General Secretary of the NFF, Musa Ahmadu, and TMS Manager Nasiru Jibril got into this mess because they were contacted by Rijeka before the transfer of the ex-Flying Eagles invitee was completed but they replied the Croatian club that Royal Force Academy was defunct.
Blessed Victory Chimezie, the CEO of Royal Force, has revealed that Football College Abuja poached Odion Ajayi illegally from his academy without following due process, despite having parental consent from the striker’s mother.
“Odion Ajayi joined my Academy in January 2008, he was taken to Football College Abuja through one Mr Adeleke Olutayo who happened to have a team that trains in the same pitch with my team,” Chimezie told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The said Tayo took Odion to Football College claiming that he wants to help me get a team for the player and that we both will share any amount that comes out from his transfer.
“ I have been asking him about Odion for the past two years and he continues to tell me that nothing has come up in that regard and claims he does not know where the player is.”
To cut a long story short, high-level investigations conducted by this website revealed that the sum of 60,000 euros was paid by Rijeka to a cartel for their acquisition of Odion Ajayi instead of the bonafide club that owned his sporting rights, Royal Force Academy.
