Rilwan Hassan Hopeful Midtjylland Will See Off Manchester United
Published: February 24, 2016Winger Rilwan Hassan is optimistic that FC Midtjylland will see off their illustrious opponents Manchester United at the end of the Europa League meeting on Thursday night at Old Trafford.
The Danish champions are almost half way through to the round of 16 after shocking Louis van Gaal’s side 2-1 in the first leg staged at the MCH Arena last week.
“We ’ll have to play like we did in the first contest . We must be ambitious , and will hopefully go home with a result after the game, ” Hassan told FCM TV.
“It was a good fight Thursday. We were well prepared , and we knew what they would do . But we are so happy with the result.”
FC Midtjylland have never qualified for the round of 16 of the Europa League in eight previous attempts,.
