Official: Leke James Signs Three- Year Deal With Chinese Team Beijing Enterprises Group
Published: February 14, 2016Norwegian Tippeligaen club Aalesund have announced that Leke James has penned a three-year contract with Chinese League One team Beijing Enterprises Group FC for an undisclosed fee.
James was very delighted that speculation surrounding his future has ended but admitted that it was difficult to say goodbye to AaFk, where he spent four years.
“It was not easy to say yes, because it´s a hard decision to leave a place where I feel at home. It was really hard to say goodbye because we are a family in AaFK, said Leke James to aafk.no.
“It feels like the first time I had to leave my family in Nigeria and leave for Europe.
“I want to say sorry to the fans that felt hurt about this decision, I hope they understand and accept it. ”
In 101 appearances for AaFK, the 23-year-old Leke James scored 45 goals (12 assists) .
