GAIS Running The Rule Over Ex-Viking Frontman Chikere
Published: February 04, 2016Swedish Superettan club GAIS have started running the rule over ex-Viking striker Henry Osita Chikere, with a view to a transfer in the winter transfer market.
Aged 25, Chikere started last season with Viking but was loaned out to First Division club Sogndal in August due to his lack of first-team opportunities.
“There is a big and strong forward, a real ball receiver. The type of player is always interesting,” sports director Fredrik Mohlin told GAIS official webpage.
“He’s an exciting player we should familiarize ourselves with, and it’s always good to see the player in our environment.”
Chikere had stops at Bayelsa United and Sunshine Stars before switching to Viking in 2013.
