Ex AC Milan Starlet Henty Ezekiel Pledges Immediate Future To NK Olimpija Ljubljana
Published: January 23, 2016NK Olimpija Ljubljana striker Henty Ezekiel will not be departing the Slovenian PrvaLiga side in the winter transfer market despite interest from a couple of clubs overseas.
This season has been his best since he moved to Europe as a teenager from Flying Sport Academy, with 8 goals to his name from 21 appearances in the league.
“I am not moving from NK Olimpija in January. There are lots of offers but my team needs me to win the Championship,” Henty Ezekiel told allnigeriasoccer.com.
NK Olimpija Ljubljana have three points more than nearest challengers for the title, Maribor, after 22 rounds and have done a very good transfer business by adding Blessing Eleke, the second highest goalscorer in the PrvaLiga, to the roster.
“It’s good he came to NK Olimpija, it will be good for his career and it will help him learn and improve more. He will help the team as well.” Ezekiel said.
Henty Ezekiel has a valid contract with NK Olimpija Ljubljana until the end of the 2016-17 season.
