Antalyaspor Defender Samuel Inkoom In Hot Water After Duping London - Based Agency
Published: January 21, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that a London - based agency has threatened to take Ghana international Samuel Inkoom to court over the failure of the defender to honour the terms of their agreement prior to his switch to Antalyaspor in the January transfer window.
The bone of contention according to Nigerian intermediary Afam is that Inkoom, then a free agent, came begging cap in hand for the United Kingdom agency to assist him get a new team and both parties had agreed that the company will be compensated whenever he is transferred from Boavista.
The 26 - year - old later signed for Antalyaspor but has reneged on the agreement despite multiple notices to clear the outstanding debt.
Inkoom is not new to controversy and appears to be a dubious character on and off the field based on his past dealings with acquaintances.
Last year, his professionalism became questionable after he got himself sent off during a league game for Boavista just to attend a disciplinary hearing at Fifa after the club failed to sanction his trip.
Whilst in the United States with DC United, he was sued by an American for damaging an apartment he rented and checked out of the property while still owing rent.
Allnigeriasoccer.com attempted to contact Samuel Inkoom through his Turkish - Cypriot intermediary to hear his version of events but came up against a brick wall.
