Published: January 19, 2016Nigeria Under 23 international Erhun Obanor has moved quickly to dismiss statements credited to Abia Warriors Chairman, Chief Emeka Inyama, that claimed that he absconded from the Umuahia side.
The 20 - year - old was farmed out on loan by Bendel Insurance to Abia Warriors for the whole of last season and the agreement between the defender and the Abia State club technically ran out in November 2015.

“I was loaned to Abia Warriors for one season and the agreement has ended. Other players in Abia Warriors were paid November salary, I was not paid, ” Erhun Obanor told allnigeriasoccer.com.
