Super Falcons Left Back Ofoegbu Thanks Channels TV, Fans For Support
Published: January 05, 2016Recuperating Gloria Ofoegbu has taken to the social media to thank those that stood by her before and after her knee surgery.
The former Falconets captain is recovering after the successful surgery that was carried out on her knee late last year in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Gloria Ofoegbu, whose surgical bill was paid for by a Good Samaritan wrote on her Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/gofoegbu?fref=photo), “My special thanks goes to the Almighty God for how He has strengthened me so far.
“And to the Good Samaritan, Channels TV, Futball Galore, Love FM, Rivers Angels FC, fans, friends and loved ones.
“I thank you all for showing me real and true love, may God bless you all. Love you all.”
The left-back whose chances of playing football again are slim is fast recovering earlier than expected.
Doctors are expected to carry out an X-ray to determine how far her recuperation had gone in the next few days.
