Super Eagles Land In South Africa For Training Camp
Published: January 02, 2016The Super Eagles have landed in South Africa, where they will hold a get - together ahead of the 2016 African Nations Championship.
Twenty two players and team officials , including Belgian Jean Francois Losciuto and Salisu Yusuf, flew out of the country on Saturday morning to the Southern African country.
The squad arrived safely in Johannesburg and have connected a flight to Pretoria, a city that was selected by the Nigeria Football Federation for the training camp because the altitude there is the same as Rwanda.
Nigeria will face Angola on 6 January and then Cote d’Ivoire on 11 January in warm-up matches during the training camp.
The Super Eagles have been drawn in Group C of the African Nations Championship alongside Niger, Tunisia and Guinea.
