Siasia Warns Dream Team To Keep A Close Eye On USM Alger Star Darfalou
Published: December 12, 2015Nigeria U23s manager, Samson Siasia, has revealed that his players will have to keep a close eye on USM Alger forward Oussama Darfalou when the Dream Team faces Algeria in the showpiece game of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
With 2 goals scored in 4 games, Zinedine Ferhat is the leading scorer of the North Africans in Senegal but Siasia reckons that their main threat will come from Oussama Darfalou, who found the net against South Africa in the semifinal.
“Everyone talks about Ferhat and certainly this is an excellent player who is very fast on the side, but I see that the danger can come from Derfalou who is very dangerous in attack, ” Siasia told reporters at Friday’s press conference.
“I also warned my players against him. There is also the left back (Ferhani), joins the attack a lot.
“We saw that Algeria relies on its defense which is the best tournament in conceding only one goal. And if Algeria has the best defense, know that we have the best attack.”
Today’s game at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, Dakar will begin at 2000 hours Nigerian time and will be officiated by Hamada Nampiandra from Madagascar.
