Taiwo Awoniyi Drops To The Bench As Siasia Names Starting XI For Algeria Clash
Published: December 05, 2015Samson Siasia has made two changes to his starting XI for the Dream Team’s clash against Algeria at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, starting from 1800 hours at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, Dakar.
Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi has failed to impress so far at the tournament in Senegal and drops to the bench for this one and he is joined there by Warri Wolves midfielder Augustine Dimgba.
Samson Siasia has kept faith with Enugu Rangers shot - stopper Emmanuel Daniel, while Sincere Seth, Segun Oduduwa, Ndifreke Effiong and Chizoba Amaefule start in defense.
Azubuike Okechukwu and Usman Mohammed will shield the back four, with Godspower Aniefiok completing the midfield spots.
CS Sfaxien striker Junior Ajayi will play upfront and he will be supported by Etebo Oghenekaro and Kufre Ebong.
