Leke James Named Aalesund Most Outstanding Player In 2015
Published: November 27, 2015Leke James won the most Man of the Match awards - five in total - in the 2015 Tippeligaen season, after the cumulative votes of Aalesund supporters for home matches were tallied.
The 23 - year - old first picked up the Man of the Match accolade on game week six against Bodø / Glimt and in the next home game with Sarpsborg 08, he was also chosen as the most outstanding player.
He had to wait for two more months before being named the most outstanding performer again, thanks to his brace in the 4 - 2 defeat of Mjøndalen on July 5.
James won consecutive Man of the Match awards against Valerenga and Odd Grenland on August 28 and September 20 respectively.
Henrik Bjørdal and Bjørn Helge were joint second after picking up three awards each over the course of the season.
