Dream Team Land In Senegal Ahead Africa U-23 Cup Of Nations
Published: November 26, 2015The Dream Team VI landed in Senegal on Thursday morning, with their first game at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations against Mali just three days away.
The delegation consisting of 21 players and 10 officials arrived the Leopold Senghor International Airport, Dakar at 1.00am local time aboard an Arik Airline flight.
They were received at the airport by the Head of Chancery, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Haruna Musa on behalf of the Ambassador, before heading off to Framissima Palm Beach Hotel.
Today, the Nigeria Under 23s will hold their first training session on Senegalese soil .
The Samson Siasia - led side were unbeaten in the two scrimmages they were involved in Gambia, beating Real de Banjul 3 - 0 before drawing 1 - 1 with the Baby Scorpions.
