Chioma Ubogagu Bids Farewell To Arsenal
Published: November 20, 2015Former USA youth - teamer Chioma Ubogagu has parted company with Arsenal Ladies following the end of her contract, the Gunners have announced via their official webpage.
The 23 - year - old arrived the Londoners from Stanford University in February 2015, and went on to suit up 21 times for the club, scoring 7 goals.
The highlight of her career at Meadow Park was helping Arsenal Ladies win the Continental Cup and she found the net in injury time in the 3 - 0 thrashing of Notts County.
Ubogagu was a second half substitute at the 2012 Under-20 Women’s World Cup in the semi - final fixture which the Falconets lost 2 - 0 to the United States.
Born in London, she is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria, USA and England at senior level.
