Amuneke Credited With Golden Eaglets Success By Kelechi Nwakali
Published: November 09, 2015Emmanuel Amuneke has been credited with the success of the Golden Eaglets at the 2015 Fifa Under 17 World Cup by the skipper Kelechi Nwakali.
Nwakali was one of the stars of the Nigeria U17s at the tournament in Chile and was awarded the Golden Ball and Bronze Shoe thanks to his three goals and three assists for the champions.
“Coach Amuneke is more than a coach to us. He is a father and I want to thank him so much, ” said the Golden Eaglets number 10.
“It is always the dream of every young player to win the World Cup and we are happy that he has helped us to achieve this glory.”
Kelechi Nwakali was named in the starting XI seven times at the World Cup and went the distance in every single game.
Nwakali was one of the stars of the Nigeria U17s at the tournament in Chile and was awarded the Golden Ball and Bronze Shoe thanks to his three goals and three assists for the champions.
