Bnei Yehuda Newbie Jude Nworuh Dedicates Maiden Goal In Israel To Deceased Igbonu
Published: November 03, 2015Bnei Yehuda newbie Jude Nworuh was delighted to score his first - ever goal in the Israeli Premier League against Hapoel Kfar Saba on Sunday.
The former Midtjylland forward’s goal in the 6th minute was special as it contributed to their 2 - 1 win over the visitors but he had to be sacrificed in the 34th minute after Dele Aiyenugba was red - carded a minute earlier.
“First I will say a big thanks to the coach, the players and the fans for giving me the chance and the confidence until I was able to score my first goal for the club, and I pray for more to come because I believe it is God that have really made it possible all the way, ” Nworuh told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I am still trying my best to fit in well in every training and every match and also off the pitch but I know with time everything should be settled.”
Nworuh has a very strong link with Super Eagles striker Sylvester Igbonu and he has dedicated his maiden goal in Israel to his father, who left this sinful world days leading up to the clash at the Bloomfield Stadium.

The former FC Ebedei talent signed a contract with Bnei Yehuda designed for two seasons and has gone on to make 3 appearances in the top flight since completing the move.
