David Enogela Vows To Put It Right Against Brazil
Published: October 31, 2015Defensive midfielder David Enogela has vowed to put it right when the Golden Eaglets face Brazil at the ongoing Fifa Under 17 World Cup after his slip led to Croatia’s match winner in their final group fixture.
But he can take heart from his performance in the Nigeria U17s win over Australia, having helped goalkeeper Akpan keep his second cleansheet of the competition.
“ I almost lost my confidence after I made that error against Croatia,” said Enogela to thenff.com.
“I felt so bad but the officials and my teammates lifted my spirit and I was so pleased about our performance against Australia.”
“The most important match for us is against Brazil on Sunday and we are going to do our best.”
